The Order of Daughters of the King is an international organization of women who have dedicated their lives to prayer and service. The chapter at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Nogales, is named Perpetua Chapter, in honor of the Christian woman who was martyred with her companions in the year 202. We maintain the parish and chapter's prayer lists, and meet regularly for prayer, study, and discussion. If you are interested in joining us or have any other questions, please contact Deacon Anne Vellom or the Rev. Jean Rogers. For information from the national website visit : Daughters of the King
Every woman who
is a member
of St.
Andrew's Episcopal Church is automatically a member of ECW (Episcopal
Church Women). We meet
monthly--usually the third Monday of the month--with an optional
business meeting that takes place on the second Sunday after the 10 a.m.
service. Our stated purpose
is: To support each other in
our individual ministries, to worship and grow in faith, to provide and
enjoy Christian fellowship, and to work together for the benefit of our
church and our community.
What this statement of purpose does not say is that we enjoy working and
playing together. Our
programs are fascinating, largely because our members often are!
That would be you!
Do check the
church calendar and watch the announcements on Sundays for our upcoming
events and activities. We
would appreciate all the women of the parish "signing up" and paying
modest dues to support our work (you'll see us when you enjoy coffee
hour after church, when you attend a reception for a wedding or funeral
at St. Andrew's, when you read of many outreach efforts that are
inaugurated and supported by our.)
Suggested dues are anything from $10 to $20 made out to “ECW, St.
Andrew's Episcopal Church,“ and mailed to 969 W. Country Club Dr.,
Nogales, AZ 85621.
If you are
interested in learning directly about our activities, please join our

We look forward to having you join us!
